I could use some input. I have a set of these borbet FS wheels.

I bent one of the wheels and droped it off at one shop to be shiped off and straighted and repainted. They stripped the wheel and never even straightened it. I got it back and I found another shop that will do it in house also I know them to be a little more reputable. since the wheel is stripped and I plan on putting new tires on all of the wheels so why not take the chance and paint all the wheel whatever color I want. this way they will match and be just a little more custom. I just can't decide on how i want them to look do i want dark colors light colors idk at all. I have a 95 talon tsi in the dark green color(I forget the exact name of it)I like to stick with colors that match. anyone have any cool ideas. Just wondering.

My first random idea is to polish the front side of the spokes and the center hub then paint the backside black.

Do you have a picture of them on your car? If so maybe post that pic and ask for a photoshop. There are members on here that will do it for you. Even if somebody is new to PS then that gives them some real practice and you an IDEA what they MIGHT look like.

heres an old pic from when I first got em.

well this morning the shop contacted me with the bad new the wheel did crack. They don't make these anymore so i cant find one especially in the correct 17x8 size. I hear of shops that can welt them and the shop with my wheel now gave me one that might be able to do it. I think i have decided on the colors though if it works out im gonna have the front side in brushed aluminum with black in the back. I just hope this wheel is repairable for i don't have enough cash to buy a whole another set of wheels.

IDK if I could ever trust welding a crack in a wheel. If you ever plan on driving the car on the tracks or anywhere else, plan to be worried you wheel is going to shatter. Be safe and get a cheap stock set until you save for something better.

actually the shop that welds wheels wont accept them so i started looking for new wheels and I found these on craigslist they guy says there 17X7.5 konigs but I wanna see what they really are can anyone tell me cause I am trying find it and if i buy them I will confirm exactly what they are.

If they are a Konig, I would be they are a knockoff. I have literally never seen a konig that had dual lug patterns like that, and never seen a konig with the lugs under the center cap either. Which it looks like those are.

They look okay though.

I have Konigs with the dual lug pattern. They always put the little crown somewhere on the lip. It would be hard to see in pics, but I don't even remotely see it on those.

i picked em up for a deal 300 with tires i picked em up today so i may paint them black in the back and silver in the fromt with a little black stip going down the lines in the spokes. Unfortunetly they cought me at kinda a broke time so I broke the bank to buy them I'm just gonna sport em for now until i get my refundd then I'll do the rest.

and then guess what the hub caps don't clear over my lug nuts. oh well Ill just have to make a stop for the right wones also does anyone know where I can get one new one?

Any auto parts store will have a selection of lugs to choose from. Personally I like a solid color on my wheels and black looks tits on a dark green car, however, whatever you think looks good is what you should do after all you look at your car more than we do. :thumb:

dark green/gold, my buddy has an integra with that combo and it looks pretty damn good.

Black or a dark charcoal with same color green pin stripe on the lip or the entire lip or just the face of the lip the same color green
