Need Help Car Wont Start After Putting On A Rebuilt Head

Ok guys, this is the proplem, We bought a new timeing belt and put it on, Then we aligned it perfectly the way the haynes manual said. The Car Starts Up but when my dad gives it throtle threw the engine bay it stays on, Then when he realeses the throttle from the engine bay the car starts to bog then 2 seconds later it Dies out and shut's off, what can be the cause of this??? it cant be the timeing since the car started and everything it is aligned perfectly and we have all the vacuum hoses hooked Corerctly enless something is wronge, "By the way how many hoses go to the intake manifold just wondering", we just cant seem to get it to idle correctly or what not.

Sounds to me like you have a massive vacuum/boost leak. Do a boost leak check and go from there. Here is a link on how to do it if you don't already know: http://www.vfaq.com/mods/ICtester.html

How many vacuum hoses are there?? do they all conect to the intake manifold?

Sorry but I don't feel like adding them up right know. To answer your question there should be a vacuum hose diagram on the bottom of your hood.
