Ok I've searched this one to death but it seems like everyone is split and EVERYONE has a differing opinion.

My full setup is in my profile. Important stuff for those that don't have time to look...

walbro 255HP (unsure on wiring)
aeromotive AFPR
small 16G

I plan on running an SAFC 2 with nothing larger than an Evo3 at around 20psi. 93 octane only and if I ever get some money probably that Dejon Tool sidemount. I don't want the hastle and expense of a front mount when its cold 9 months out of the year and I never autox or road race so it only has to survive for maybe 1-2 stoplight runs at a time with long cool down time inbetween. This IS my daily driver, so NO I won't want to go bigger after the Evo3 upgrade.

Now PLEASE, facts only, not opinion. Are 550's or 580's enough? If not then is the low throttle drivablity really that bad with 650's? I don't want to have to adjust the afc right out of range (actually i want to mess with it as little as possible, tuning scares me), so I'd like to use the smallest injectors possible and still have a large safety margin. At 18psi on the current setup with stock injectors my worst afr was 11.5, so the pump must be good for something. 580's sound like a good deal to me and extremepsi has them on sale (side question: is that brand any good? not sure what it was).

I don't do street tuning (no offense) so everything will be done on a dyno with a wb if that makes any difference in letting me go closer to the limit.

One last side question and this one is important. Can the SAFC be run with the TPS only connected to it and not to the computer? I don't see why it couldn't but my local shop keeps telling me it can't be done (or maybe just that they won't do it).

Who says low throttle driveability is bad with 650's?

Persoanlly I would go with the 650's just so you won't have to ever upgrade again if you do ever decide to step up to a 50 trim or something similiar.

Also I'd rather have to much fuel than not enough.

I ran my evo 3 at 20psi with 650's and it worked perfectly.
