First off, I own a FWD 90' Laser RS Turbo. Stock besides boost controller.

I plan on getting a SS Turbo-Back exhaust w/ 02 Eliminator & Cat from Slowboyracing.com. I don't know what size to get though. I was told that 2.5" is good up to 250hp, 3" for +250 hp. I'm not sure if that applies to DSM's at all. I expect to be getting upwards of 300hp within the next year or so after more mods.

Most people would just say dish out the extra cash for the 3". Might as well. That way you won't have to upgrade from 2.5 to 3 later on. & 3" isn't that much more than a 2.5" system, anyways. Maybe like 75 bucks extra.

Thanks man. I tried searching for a thread on this topic because I expected it to be a common question. However, I couldn't find one.

Thanks for the info, I'll be going with a 3" setup.

2.5 could be good for however much other stuff you have, but Just think about your goals here, i would say about 400hp + definatly get a 3"-3.5"

But there are also some cons, a full 3" system will be a little louder then a 2.5"
