Need Advice on head swap

I'm building a G4CS 2.4L Hybrid, and Pulling my built Head off my 2.0L motor and reusing it on my new 2.4L build. The head is O-ringed, and had a Mitsu MLS Headgasket that had been copper sprayed.

A couple questions, I bought the G4CS Block used, So what do I need to do to the deck on the block to clean/prep it for the new build?

How should I clean my head to remove the copper spray off the head? How should I prep the head for re-installation?

I will be using a Felpro Composite headgasket, and plan on copper spraying it, is it a good idea? or should I use the Cometic MLS headgasket I got with the block?
