narrowband install?

Ok I have a autometer narrowband air/fuel ratio gauge and Im not sure I have it installed right....the power wire and ground wire is right Im sure of that but Im not sure on the signal wire...I have it spliced into the white and black wire on the ECU harness...it reads one solid light rich and the rest flashing lean....but now i also havent installed my FMU or my wally 255 pump yet either...So does anyone kno if this is right or not?

Just for reference, that thing will never be right even when wired correctly. You pretty much just wasted money that you could of spent towards a wideband. Narrowband gauges are very inaccurate and will bounce all over the place.

Put that thing up for sale and put the funds toward a wideband, i bought one when i first started out, nice to look at but for about 5 minutes then i just threw it away.

I agree with these guys. The narrow band is cool to look at but its usefulness is non existent. If you want it for its purpose of lighting up and being cool then I wouldnt worry about it. As far as which wire to tap, I dont know. Let us know if you get the problem fixed.

Times 3.. I read that and face palmed. Get a Wide band. End of story. LC1 by Inovate are nice. There is also a search button in the top Right, I would start using that , seeing as you bought the handgrenade, I mean car already boosted, and it didnt have a wide band, so im guessing theres more issues to come. The wide band wont fix any issues your already having, its a monitor tool to prevent things from happening. Its a "Must" investment for a boosted 420a. GL.
