Well I'm posting this here only because this alarm install requires using alot of vehicle specific wires, but if necessary please move to proper forum....

Ok well I've been trying to get my boss to help with the install of this alarm he gave me for awhile now, and no luck so I'm thinking of trying to tackle this myself...

I have the DEI Viper 790XV its one of the older model responder alarms, and it also has a module to control my windows and a module to control the sun-roof. This alarm has remote-start capability as well

I was wondering if any has installed one of these and would like to help me out with specifics such as wires I need to conntect to in the engine bay and other things replated to the install...

I'm going to start stufying the install manual now and try to get an idea of what goes where, but any help would be great

Thanks

Edit:
Also any information on removing the stock alarm system would be great

Unless you are in an area of high crime, I would stick to the stock alarm. Sooner or later this aftermarket alarm is going to give you trouble and at that point, no written information will be available.

I remove alarms all the time for failing or going off when there's absolutely no reason to. Or for no start conditions.

Just make sure you keep your paperwork.

Good Luck

I Installed a clarion sr6000 the other day ... It's a real pain to install these things man, I agree with keeping the stock alarm. If you ever do need wire colors and corrosponding functions and locations just PM me or IM me on aim at littleniky006, and I'll try to help you out as best as I can.
