Ok as ive mentioned im getting the whole idle surge, one thing ive noticed now tho is that when ever i try to floor it in first it will kind of studder a little bit, before catching its kind of like it does not want to go but pulls through. Does this narrow it down? i really dont want to tchange teh o2 sensor , tps, isc (or someting like that ) i know its most likely one of those. Based on how the car studders when i try to take off, should i lean towards any one of those?

Do you have a hole somewhere in your exhaust piping? Also I've been told a bad cat would do it. I've got the same problem in mine and it ticked me off, but I'm too cheap right now to fix it. (This is in my black n/t daily, not the purple car) Simple to check tho are your tps, iac sensors. If either of those are malfunctioning, it could be just a simple fix.

How many miles are on the car, whats on the car, whats your r's when you stomp on it in 1st? Chances are its something stupid like you said the o2 sensor/tps/maf/mas too many dam acroynams LOL gotta love a dsm.

Have you replaced your spark plug wires lately? Common 2GNT lower RPM misfire problem is related to the wires going bad on you. You can score a set of OEM replacements by Bosch from Autozone for under $40. Lifetime warranty, so you can even just take them in and replace them with brand new ones in the future as part of your troubleshooting. LOL

Also. pull and check the gaps on your plugs. Too much gap and tired wires will make it hard for the coil to fire that mixture. I would do this before I messed with anything else. Next in line would be the O2 sensor if you've got more than 80k on the original unit.

Good luck.

i got only 67k miles on the car, and as far as the exhaust i just bolted up the tsudo n1 catback, sounds nice by the way ! does anyone have any pictures of how the tps or the isc looks? and where its at?
