Rough idle, bogging, hesitation narrowed down to fuel issue

hi everyone. i am new here and i cant seem to find anyplace i can ask a tech somethin but here it goes. i have a 97 eclipse gs 2.0 and it feel like i lost power then it started to missfire and i went and bought plugs. well i went to change them and got to the third cylinder and i plued the plug out and dripped oil everywhere . the idle will drop below 1k and shake really hard. and i dont kno if this is part of the problem but blue smoke comes out of my exhaust but only when i idle. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Sounds like your valve seals need to be rplace or your valve cover gasket is leaking at the spark plug o-ring. That sould be pretty noticeable.

Thanks if the sparkplug o ring for the valve cover if it is leaking would the spark plug boot be covered in oil

U need new valve cover gaskets. They r stopping your fuel injectora from working.. u may as well change fuel filter too on firewall by throttle body.. and may as well go walbro 255 also

thank you everyone for all your help. i have another question if anyone dont mind answering. the burning oil situation is getting worse. it smells like its burning oil all the time but i only see it when i stop but now i see it as soon as i stop.

Let start off by saying my car ran out of gas in the drive way. I refilled it with gas and it wouldn't start.it was acting like it wasn't getting spark at first. I checked ALL wires to make sure nothing was melted or unplugged for some reason. Then I went out and got new plugs. Still wouldn't start. I repeatedly turned key on waited on waited to make sure the fuel pressure to the rail was where it needed to be. After about ten minutes of this and trying to start the fuel pump started making a weird noise. I just kept trying to start it. once it went away I sprayed a lot of starting fluid in to intake and the motor start ran really ruff back fired out intake and died I started again back fired smoked out intake. Finally where it's at now it will start and run but will bog out and sometimes backfired out intake when I bring the rpms up. Sounds like fuel problem but I have no idea I'm completely lost. I posted here because it sounds like similar problems. Please respond with any questions or comments.
