looked around on here and couldnt find anything about it, wondering if someone could possabily give me a link for. .
i was told that an n/t t/b is an upgrade from the stock turbo t.b, they said the bore was bigger and i checked it and it was. . is there anything id have to do besides fitting the t.b elbow on? or is there something more to getting it to work?

thanks!

The TB is the same size as the 1g TB it's 60mm. You'll want to upgrade the shaft seals to allow to seal for boost. The main reason people upgrade to it is because it has an extension on it unlike the the turbo modle which have a gasket and elbow. You'll need to custom cut some pipe and get a couple couplers to mount up your IC piping. It's not that bad to do and a good compliment to it is getting the Evo III manifold or port out the RVR manifold to 60mm (7cm).

i thought the n/t was different? i any measured it my self and i recall on of the sides of the t.b being bigger ill have to check again when i get home

Let me rephrase it, it's going to be either 60mm or 63mm. Either way, the will match up on the outlet. I have one on my Talon with the ported RVR manifold.

HAHA the rebuild and install was fine. When I first got it, I thought I would be able to get a 45* or 90* coupler to throw on, but it needed a new pipe. That part I didn't do but the shop where my car was at put that pipe on. They just cut an existing elbow I had from an IC kit to use the pipe on the new TB.

Just some clarification ALL 1g throttle bodies are 60mm, either NT or turbo. 2g turbo throttle bodies are 52mm. 2g NT throttle bodies are not compatible. IMO there isn't any reason to go to a 1g NT throttle body unless you prefer to not have a throttle body elbow. If you don't care then I would just suggest getting a turbo 1g throttle body and porting your 2g throttle body elbow slightly. Don't use a 1g turbo throttle body elbow because they are junk and flow poorly.
