I recently bought a 1990 laser RS-T shell that i dropped my '91 n/a motor out of an old laser that sat for a very long period of time (purrs great, I was beyond stoked). Did the t-belt/water pump/engine whatnots, rewired all my parts over to the 90 harness and all that good stuff. Recently picked up a 13g on the cheap and was wondering how I would go about turbo-ing my laser? I realize i'd need 450's and turbo ecu and maf (my car is a turbo harness, so I do have it better off than the n/a harness guys). What manifold and piping would work? Also, how would I get it to run 8 psi? Thanks to whomever wants to help!

Imo I would not waste my time doing it. Don't get me wrong more power to you if you wanna do it, but the power and money spent can be used else where for a good setup.

Thanks for the replies! And in a sense, it really is a waste of time, but i still wanna do it. I plan on running it on 8 psi until the damn thing blows up, then it'll give me a good excuse for a rebuild. Also, I'm in high school, so doing the cheapest 13g setup is key for me. Haha

Nice to see another laser owner :thumb: Can't wait to get this thing going. Its hard to find any M/T 4g63T engines up here in the montana. Itll kick ass as a DD when its done. I'm planning on running 7psi to keep it safe cause I wont have the money to rebuild for a while after im done. I'll also be using a 16g on my setup.

Right on man I was not trying to put your idea down. Follow n/t to turbo guides and you will be alright good luck keep us updated.:hellyeah:

Just locate some stock stuff. It should all bolt on and run good. At 11psi it will last forever! I had a14b and stock stuff on a n/t engine in my talon way back in the day. Now I''m putting a 13g on a n/t engine in my GGSX, but with a cheap fmic..
