Nope. What kind of closed BOV are you talking about? Like a HKS SSQV?

im using my 1g bov with my 57 trim for awhile. it doesnt hold anything over 24 psi but the car is scary at 22 psi. i forgot that yours was a 2g sorry:) indy race cores are great, great at taking your money and making you wait. they make a nice product but their customer service SUCKS. i cant think of anything for the 2g as far as intercoolers go. whatever you get just make sure its a spearco or similar core. also make sure its short route mandrel piping.

Just a side question, with a safc can I tune to make my BOV dump to the atmosphere with no problem?

you'll still run rich whether your idle is ok or not...only way to really vent with no problems is with a vpc or a full stand alone system.

but we all do it anyways...

There wouldn't be a need to vent anyway. Well, depending on the turbo...you'll need a new intake. With hard ic pipes and intake your bov will be loud returning to the intake track. I have a type-s and it sounds the same, and is just as loud vented or returned.

- FMIC
- LSD
- profec-b ebc
- agp's rs43

And Im probably going to need a better clutch. Well how does this sound to you guys?

Ok to save money.

255 fuel pump.
Bolt on AFPR.
660's or whatever.
S-AFC plus datalogger
Local shop can do a full 3" setup for cheap. Don't do 2.5"
Go with an internal gate for now, deal with it, otherwise you are looking at several hundred more dollars.
FMIC. IRC, or whatever. Expect a wait.
LSD. (B+M) But get prothane motor mounts, and a RRE lower subframe connector.
Hallman BC
-50trim turbo.

Definately not cheap. And will take you several months. Can't just slap it all on and expect go fast. :)

Definately go with the DSMlink with the 2G. Especially if you are going big turbo. The S-AFC/Pocketlogger sucks. It is harder to tune at WOT and nearly impossible to tune part throttle. Or at least to do it right. You WILL regret not going DSMlink. Mark my words.

If your going w/external gate, why not just get the AGP kit for $1750. That includes all hardware, manifold, external gate, and O2 housing. They will also plumb the dump tube back into the exhaust if you dont want the noise. And you may be ok with the 190 lph pump. A lot of people just run this without the AFPR and are fine w/ the 50 trim.

Externals are better. Dont let anybody tell you differently.

Im going internal with the RS43 Ive decided. And no one really answered my question about the closed bov? Are you talking HKS style? And peregrine this setup wont happen any time soon, Im thinking winter project. Im going to buy the turbo and intercooler first I think just so I have some modivation to continue the project. And yea I know about the long wait from IRC, but since its not going on anytime soon then no big deal. As far as the motor mounts go, who should I buy from? I have never looked into these so Im kinda clueless. And one last thing- the afpr? I hear B&M is a waste of money, could someone shed some light on this?

because with larger injectors you need to be able to turn your fuel pressure DOWN. the b&m can only turn it up. the reason you need to be able to turn it down is because (for me) you get too much timing when you lean it out by way of afc which makes the ecu see less airflow signal and it adds timing (whew). you have to let the ecu see more airflow signal so it doesnt add too much timing. the only way to do this without running horribly rich (turning up afc) is to turn the fuel pressure down. im running a base pressure of 31 (hose off) right now. idle is choppy from this but now im not seeing a whole lot of timing which is good. alot of timing leads to knock on pump gas which leads to no power.
