Also, the Fast and the Furious didn't have interior 'neons' to my knowledge. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I KNOW they didnt have sound sensitive ones.

You can pick up led's and neons that are sound sensitive at Pep Boys for like $10. Nothing impressive. Start saving up for something more important like a nice set of wheels, a new suspension setup, or something that doesn't even have to be performance related because that sort of light crap gives the rest of us a bad ricey rep.

But seriously if it makes you enjoy the music more then that's cool. I guess if the Eclipse is nothing but a ####-catching car to you then I do believe you have succeeded in upping it's potential. But I think if you put some money under the hood you'd be surprised with how much fun the car could suddenly become.

Whatever makes you happy, it's your car. I replaced my under dash bulbs with red led ones ### they didn't help me see and they were free anyways. Might get some bright white ones in the future though its so dark with no real dome light .

As a former RS owner I have to say your wrong. They can be nice and fast. But so can a ford escort.

I am not hating you. You put lights in your car. Thats cool. Its not my thing but if you like it than thats you. I am glad you chose the NT to do this with. So you have made good choices to get what you want. But if you really want to impress the girls put them in a car that throws them back in the seat. Then maybe you can get them in the back seat.... Nevermind that is a bad idea in our cars. Just dont call it the Kenny Mobile.

HA! Same here, I got my wife looking to see if theres one or two tailpipes on the muffler!

on a side note though, back when I was in high school, the girls (and some teachers) did seam to like the whole "lighting" thing.

GUYS....a GS and GS-T are both FWD 2.0 liters. If the GS is turbo'd its JUST as fast as any GS-T. Trust me...I used to waste GS-T's all day in my Turbo'd up GS. They are NOT that slow. Its just that some people only KNOW what they hear from someone else. Just look out for the day a turbo GS smokes your Stock cars

Please Don't teach anyone to hate GS's They are part of the family and if you don't like them then you should sell your DSM and go buy a HONDUH.

Here is a video of a 420a running an 11.3 in the 1/4 mile.

Hahn Racecraft got their Eclipse into the low 10's. So I would say the GS has just as much potential as any other FWD DSM.

Your telling me I put lights in my car? You got me and the other kid with the turdbucket mixed up buddy. The only bulbs I ever changed on my car were the floor lights to red bulbs when you open the door and they turn off when the door is shut, and all my exterior bulbs to the super brights.

This was really just a video made for my friends to see the progress of my car. I referred to it as the Kenny Mobile because that is what it is referred to amongst my friends. So it was kind of an inside thing.

This is the only thing I dont like about this site. People carry over the peformance part of the site to the appearance part and it starts wars. Oh well. Ill take it like it is. Way to stick up for yourself though.... As the old saying goes: "The nail that sticks out gets hammered." - I dont know who said it. But really, its hard to do anything non-peformance wise that's not gonna be called rice, unless the person can somehow come up with a way to say it has a performance side to it. Take my hood for example, I said it was light weight, and it lets hot air out. It does all that, so I get a pass, but some people dont like it cause its not stock. Since your new to the site, maybe some-one should've explained this to ya. Instead of ripping into you like fresh cut meat. Im guessing since you found this site you want to learn about your DSM which is great and why we're all here. But I wish we could learn in peace with out all the BS, so come on give him a break, he's new.

Well I'm not trying to bring the performance section over. My car is practically stock but nothing irritates me more than people who stick useless crap on their car like that. No I'm not new, yes I have 0 posts, I just prefer to use DSMTalk instead. But the thing that made me want to be an ass about it was the "custom" part of the lights when all you have to do is flip the switch on the neon and it becomes bass sensitive. So its not custom if all it took was $10 and flipping a switch.
