So i've been working on my talon tsi that i just bought, its running great now. Well now that thats taken care of i have to change the appearance of it, i'll attach pics so you can see why. It's got a bomex body kit on it. I mean i'm not anti body kit or anything but its not really my thing, especially the bomex one. but my problem is i cant decide on what i want. I really want a 2gb talon front end, I love the aggressive vampire look. So most would just do a talon conversion, but i dont really like the rear end too much. I love the 2gb eclipse rear bumpers though. The only thing i dont like about that bumper is the reverse lights, It's a shame I cant get the 2gb bumper with the 2ga 'reverse tear drop' ones. LOL but i guess i cant get everything i want. Anyways i also want to do the eclipse turbo "whale tail" wing. So i was wondering if anyone has ever seen this and what do you think it would look like. Alright guys here comes the pics of my talon...dont be too rough on it LOL Also I had no part in this i bought it like this.

WOW that is freakin awesome, I think the roof scoop is the best part and extremely functional.

(End sarcasm)

On a serious note, there's a lot you gotta change on that thing. Fenders, roof scoop, side skirts, rear and front bumper.

Honestly I would go with the stock Talon parts all the way around. You see eclipses everywhere but you hardly see good looking talons, which makes them rare.

Completely up to you (obviously since its your car LOL) but that's what I would do.

I would do a 2gb elcipse front bumper and rear.

Body kits are ### and that car looks like someone just took a huge dump on it. Or a robing laid an egg.

I'm not a fan of body kits :barf:. But to be honest with you, looks like it was put together really well from the photos. :ohdamn: Can't believe I just said it. Now time for removal and some nice OEM Talon pieces slapped on that baby :thumb:

On the bright side you'll get more air into the intercooler with that bumper ;)

On a serious note, it is one of the best looking kits offered for our cars, but personally I'm sticking to stock.

I wouldn't do it. one of my friends had yes had a Supra 94' with a molded bodyuck kit and he hit a pot hole and it smash the front bumper and knock the fenders off aline.. crack fiberglass is not good to work with. He would need lots of time in work to put stock parts back. and the quarter panels oooo man.

that kinda ugly. i do some what like the color, i guess. is it at least all wheel drive?

i wish it was awd but its not, I do kind of like the fenders but they will prob go too. The side skirts are molded, which is horrible so i might just sell it now that its fixed and get me an awd. I'm just happy that i dont have to drive my n/a anymore. The car used to be a show car in chicago, it was black with some weird green design on it. but it was vandalized. All the windows were busted out and that jazz. So now its primer blue and everythings good again on it besides the body, just trying to figure out which route i want to go. But the guy that owned it before me did do everything real clean and nice, It wasn't just a fast and the furious wannabe, he had some performance mods on it so he some power to atleast back up those looks haha

it always seems like its the nt's with the body kits :D
haha, but on a serious note.

if you like the talon front look, and the eclipse rear, do it.
itll make yours stand out from the crowd and be original,
i almost did it on mine.

You know most people like low riders some like em 5ft high well some like body kits and this one is clean looks good and its got some thing done to it. So i would leave it sale it someone may give you some $$$ for it. I have a friend that love car like that and he paid some $$$ for it .

I totally agree with you every car that i've seen here in indiana that has a body kit is n/a or auto, but i guess the thing i do like about it is everyone else thinks that too when they roll up by me then i take off as my turbo screams kiss my ricey a$$! LOL I agree viper alot of people do like body kits, I do like them, just not on my car really. if i sale it then i'll leave it on. cause everyone around here likes them, all the honduh's around here with kits and dragon stickers on it look at me like a god LOL bud if i decide to keep it i'm ditching the kit for a 2gb talon front with 2gb eclipse rear Like 2gawdtsi said that would be completly unique I did tons of searches and seen nothing on it so i figured i'd ask you guys

Thats primer blue? Looks shiny to me.

I would leave it how it was but definatly change the front bumper. And probably the back too, since its equally ugly. I would leave the sides and fenders.

Im not a fan of bady kits either, but now that I look at it on a computer and not on my phone it doesnt look half bad. I can see how some people would like it, I personally wouldnt put it on my car.

Its almost as if the previous owners inspiration was fast and the furious.

Meh... the color really accents the body kit all wrong. Personally I would stop worring about how it looks with the "baby blue" go black, with a light silver fleck. just my .02 though.

I was just saying to keep the fenders and sideskirts on because they cannot be removed without damaging the paint. But since it doesnt have paint, it doesnt really matter.

Not saying that the fenders and sideskirts look bad, because they dont. The bumpers arent appealing, neither is the roof scoop.

I agree with you on that I personally wouldn't have paid for this body kit and put it on myself but i got a sweet deal on the car so it is what it is i guess The blue doesn't bother me at all I like it actually, but once i get my stock bumpers and the money for a paint job It's going to be a real deep red
