my setup...good bad or just plain ugly

I just got my hands on a 1991 eagle talon tsi 5 spd. awd. my question is, is my setup any good and what changes would other people make? Ive got the turbo set at 20 psi.
2g internals
arp hardware
small cam (not much more than stock)
stage1 clutch
16g turbo
internal wastegate
Full Fmic
255 walboro pump
650 injectors
stronger axles front and rear
4 bolt rear swapped from 2g
apexi afc
any help or input would be greatly appreciated and i cant wait to take it to the track, the guy that owned it before me said on a crappy tune he ran it at 12.6 in the quarter mile. I dont know if these numbers sound right or not but if i could tune it a little better i would love to run it at the local muscle hangout.

it was acually done when i got the car but i think its more like the internals were swapped out like a rear wheel drive i know its a stronger 4 bolt rear versus the stock 3 bolt.... if that helps

I don't think you get what Im saying. Its not physically possible from all the people I have asked and all the pictures I have looked at, to swap a 2G rear into a 1G. I think you may be talking about swapping the 4 bolt from a late 1G into your 91, but like I said, I don't think its possible to put a rear out of a 2G on a 1G. BTW, all 2G's have 4 bolt rears.

i like ## style nice and simple but u dont need new axels but the 4 bolt swap sounds nice but the 4bolts came in the 92-94 i belive. but other than that sounds good

yeah so late 1g then....new turbo on the way from dsmperformance.com....it is an evo 3 16g yayeah i cant wait for it to be here.... overnight shipping is expensive as ####

hey..while we're on the subject of turbo's...what is the max boost you could run on a totally stock car and what kind of numbers will it put out

i have other supporting mods and my car isnt stock, but i want a baseline to go from when turning up the boost

Some people run 30-35 psi on stock motors, DON'T do it unless you know what you are doing.

i would have to agree^ while running a crap-ton of boost may seem like a good idea, rebuilding an engine does not sound fun.... at all, unless your me and wanna build your motor up...

meanwhile.... somehow or another my motor skipped time and now i get to take the timing belt back off and hope to god i didnt bend any valves or break any pistons if it isnt just the timing, and i did break something, the engine is gonna get a thorough overhall... im talking pistons,rods, rebuilt head... but with the good stuff. anyone think i can do all that for under2 grand? basically im tired of fixing this to have that break and im gonna pull the motor and have it built to my standards i ran out of time before i start school and i cant take it with me so im gonna pull it out before i leave and have the head sent to the shop to have it checked, re-surfaced, and if i have to replace anything its all getting overhauled like i said with the good stuff. any suggestions on what brands of what to get ill ###### go with weisco pistons eagle rods but as far as the head im not sure anything would help...thanks

yeah im not much on appearance, as long as its a clean looking ride... its primer grey till i get it runnng the way i want it.

the new turbo has been installed and making boost like normal... yay!!!!
right now im trying to find the culprit of a terrible miss and may be delayed since im headed to school... we shall see

miss....dismissed... found the culprit, replaced the biss screw, gapped the plugs, found some vaccuum leaks, adjustment had the throttle partially open at start up so that among other things fixed my problem shes up and running again with the addition of a buscher racing in line mbc and new wires, she should be good and ready to sit all winter (haha) ive still got big plans for the head i got from the junkyard, gonna build it up to specification. also, at minimum im going to try and get dsmlink or apexi neo, new clutch,afpr, wideband, and some other small things completed by summer. id like to give a shout out to dsmtuners and all of its members who, through their various posts have all indirectly helped me to get my car back on the road. i love driving my dsm more than my new truck!!! and i love my truck!! thanks to all
