In my honest opinion, Topline pumps are a disaster waiting to happen. I would go with OEM. I had King bearings show insane amounts of wear within 200 miles. I also woudn't go with King for a timing belt. Mitsubishi, Gates, or HKS would be the only route to go. Same for timing components. As for headgasket, the multi layer steel gaskets are very picky since they require a nearly mirrored finish on the head and block. Composite gaskets have been proven to hold past 450hp with the use of ARP head studs. Topline gasket set isn't bad so long as you use a small amount of RTV Black with the gaskets. Also, dont use a cork gasket on the oil pan, use nothing but RTV black or something of similar quality.

Thanks Guys I will make some changes to the list before I order everything.
I appreciate the feed back it always helps this is my first rebuild for this kind of engine so the feedback is important.

So the strokers really make that much difference in the performance. I am looking to go up to at least 450 hp within the next year.

One last question is it vital to install a new oil pump with a new build? Mine work just fine.

My buddy has a stroker in his spyder its has some nice power, oil pump replace it since your there cheap insurance, resuse yours you can but, when and if it fails youll wish you spend the 200 dollars or so i replaced my front case, gears were fine. I can rest easy now knowing i have a full rebuild on everything, when im out having fun, blasting down the road. LOL

I believe the biggest performance increase you will notice is faster spooling of larger turbos. Someone feel free to chime in if I am wrong about this.
