so this weekend i just put on my FMIC on my SPYDER GST and i thought i would post some pics check it ut and let me know what you think.... yes i know there is an ugly body kit but im replacing it with the stock bumper here soon.

Very nice...I hope you don't hit sh** with that front bumper..God knows I hit stuff somtimes, I would imagine having a bumper like that and smashing it...

yah the funny thing is i got it all on and left the bumper off and ran it down the road and i killed a raccoon but thankfully it did not do anything... i almost died

Looks like the same kit I went with. Ive had it on since around Christmas. Ive been really happy with mine, I noticed a big gain. The main reason I went with it though was because it let me keep my stock foglights.

yah i wish i had my stock bumper.. but yes im very happy with the kit i noticed a big change from my SMIC.

Can you do me a big favor and take pics of how you have the lower I/C piping set up and how it reaches the j pipe and upper I/C ? I purchased a intercooler kit that has the top outlet like that and wanna see if my j pipe & upper i/c combo is gonna work right.

im surprised there are so many owners out there who wuold not sacrifice their beloved foglights and opt for the more inferior and more expensive fmic..

but hey i've used this fmic myself..

its the apexi or obx copy of it, or the many rebranded ebay knockoffs of the apexi knockoff..

I was running it with a 16g, i never had a chance to take a shot of the lower piping setup, but here is the jpipe i had

didn't need to trim the fans and i had another pipe that mated perfect to that apexi/obx/ebay fmic. I believe you can get this jpipe and lower icpipe i speak of on ebay as well. the lower pipe has a boost source.

with the new redesign of the VR-Speed kit (SSAC core) which now will include j-pipe option and easier install.. and the Punishment Racing fmic kit which will allow you fog light lovers keep your lights.. this kit would be on the bottom as far as quality/design yet around the same if not more than the other 2 which are superior in every way.

Doesn't that jpipe go towards the driver side? if so it might make it a bit more difficult for you if you are not accustomed to making your own ic pipes.

this is the one i used that mates up PERFECTLY with the apexi or copy of it fmic kits

like i said it has a boost source int he lower pipe.. the only thing is the piping is 2.25" so you will need a transition coupler

any upper ic kit that goes the stock route will fit fine with this kit.. this is the general idea for getting this kit for those who already have ic piping.. but at the same time this is the flaw of it also and why it is inferior to the others... the others include much shorter route piping from the throttle body

Nice FMIC, the only thing I dont really like is that front bumper thats on. But you meantioned it was your temporary bumper for now till you get the 2GB one

I have to get some pics up of mine. I'll do that after I install my MHI 16G and such. Then I'll have it lookin all pretty!
