Well I got bored s i thought id post this up, the setup is....
xspower intercooler its 3.5" thick core 6 inches tall and liek 28 inches long.

So if I break it down its:
Couplers 50
Hose clamps- 15
Dejon J pipe- 90
2g TB elbow- 25
Fmic- 165 shipped
mandrel bends and random straight sections 90
So it came to like a little under $450.

I am happy with it, I am only on stock boost because I didnt feel like buying a tee to tap into the vacuum line for the wastegate so i just unhooked my boost gauge and connecting the waste gate line into the IM. it fits greta and only took about 5-6 hours to install... including welding.

well heres pics tell me what you think.

O yea and sorry about the stupid "jDm tYtE" angles my little brother took the pics. I will take pics of my piping setup more tommorow.

THATS MY CAR!!!! It better still be there when I wake up...............j/k, its got the sunfaded hood and everything. Sweet intercooler.

did you get the core from xspower? If so dont boost over 25. They explode. Im not kidding. Mine did when i pressure tested it. They sent me a new one which was very surprising, The new one they sent looks like yours.

Anton

yea its xs power haha I hope it doesnt explode i doubt this motor will ever see to high over 20psi, thanks for the heads up thought... and hopefully it doesnt explode.

on a scale of 1 to 10 how hard would you say it was to do the install. I have a friend that can weld and has the know how to install it. Also do you know if bumper modification would be required on a 2g:dsm:

that looks very well done. well....we cant really see the welds, but otherwise, it looks great from outside.
have you done a leak test?

Very clean! Good install. I'm assuming you went with long route piping... And if you did, why?

-Kevin-

I went with long route because it would have been a bi*** to get the pipes to go on side of the radiator with this fmic... i felt a great power increase and a huge knock decrease and my ported big 16g is getting here on monday... 20 lbs here I come!
