We paid $2000 for it with 146,xxx miles.

1991 Eclipse GST
New steering rack
New axles
New tires
1 yr old heavy duty clutch
Rebuilt motor
Rebuilt head
New T-belt
New brakes

Really clean interior, except the passenger side is missing a visor and the head lining is sagging. A very small amount of body rust. A really clean car I think.

I havn't modded it at all yet. I'm only 15. I need a job first. The car is going to sit till I turn 16 too. So it gives me time to make some money and mod it while it's just collecting dust.

WTF!!! I have been searching under every rock for a turbo 1g for $2500 or less and i can't find anything. Good find.

that's messed up. all of the good deals are a million miles away. if it were local i would have been all over that.

Nice man! Helping me represent red 1G FWD Eclipses......

Got mine with 119K on the motor, bone stock for $2400 :thumb:

11months later the mod bug came and then my 'profile' became what it is.

Thanks for all the props! I really havn't noticed any differences. Well except the seats. The Lasers seats are way more comfortable. I donno why, they just are. But the Eclipse's seats seem to hold me better.

WOW, is that the stock paint????? it looks phenomenal, shines like it just rolled off the assembly line! although i seem some spots that i dont know if its rust or not, but that is one damn shiny coat if its stock paint.

It appears to be stock. There are some chips and stuff on the hood, and the wing is starting to fade a little bit. But I think it is. Plus I just washed the car.

P.S. Your car is awesome! :thumb: If I ever get my Eclipse repainted it will probably be black! What size rims are those?

Hey great find! I am just like you, started out with an Eclipse N/T (that's red) and found a GST for cheap ($1500 sound good to you all?) running and everything. It's black and I love the power gain. The modding bug has already hit me, and with a job now, performance parts should begin showing up on my doorstep here pretty soon. Right now I'm looking for a 2g ported exhaust manifold for a reasonable price. I figure it's a good place to start since mine is cracked. Have a good time with it.

Yes, the aftermarket fog lights are kinda ghey lookin. I might just take them out and leave them off. I like to look without them.

I think I already am addicted to boost. So is my dad, my mom, my brother, his friends, my friends. . Just about everyone who's rode in it so far. Even though it has no insurance.

The first thing I want to do to it is get a boost gauge. Then I'll start modding from there.

have fun in your car.... But since you are young I will give you one piece of advice. You are far from invincible and niehter is your car. So Drive safe, and have lots of fun. :) Congrats I know how long you were looking for this car.

Congrats,

-J

Well, for a turbo model about 2 weeks. I had a N/T Laser, but I gave it to my older brother. Isn't it suppose to be the other way around? Basically as soon as I started looking I found this one. A local dsm friend saw it and told me. And well, we baught it.
