I bought a 93 eclipse gst Friday night that the engine was recently rebuilt around 300 miles ago! (or so he says) The engine bay is very clean and the head is very clean and looks new inside. It has a bushur racing down pipe, cat bypass, and a TR&D Cat back and lopes at idle! The guy I purchased it from who did the rebuild said he thinks it might be cammed!?! He didn't rebuild the head but got it from someone who did... He says he rebuilt the bottom end himself though! Said to retourque the cylinder head in a couple hundred miles! I also installed an ebay 20g turbo with O2 dump.. He recommended I get dsm link to make sure its properly tuned... Which I will because its tax return time and I wanna make sure I got the A/f and everything right before going WOT! It has a stupid lowband A/F gauge... The MAS on the car had a honeycomb removed and the charcoal canister wasn't hooked up which I fixed along with the power steering and bled the brakes and drained the "coffee" out of the clutch master cylinder and rebled.. Also, replaced the old nasty k&n with the freshly cleaned 1 from my 91 gst!! The air box is completely missing and the filter is clipped straight to the Mas housing/intake... Is this alright??? What are your suggestions or concerns for this break in??? I intend to Run my Zex wet nitrous kit when she's tuned and broken in...
