Is that DEJON printed on the FMIC an option or do they all come that way now?

I believe they all come that way now, bc i never told them i wanted it. However, now that i see it on there I like it alot. It looks good and i think it'll line up good w/ the bumper. My friend ordered the same ic like prolly 5 months ago and it didn't have the logo like mine.

Looks good, but I personally wouldn't want their logo on it. :thumbdown

Otherwise looks good, do get pics of it installed up.

I got one and I love, it's on my 1G

Out of all honesty there core looks nice and seems it should perform great but with that DEJON printed on the core makes me want to look elsewhere for like a SBR fmic kit or AGP kit. I know its just a minor thing with there name on it but i prefer the clean fmic core. I would get annoyed with everyone asking me what does that say on my fmic.

THe apint will wear of quickly. Looks EXACTLY like the SBR Intercooler. ..minus nice couplers and T-bolts.

what difference does it make for them to have their logo on there  it's still going to perform, i think it looks cool. :thumb: some people are just picky for no reason :thumbdown

I have the race core with all the piping and the bov mod on my new stock 1g bov. I love my setup.

Thanks guys. I will post more pics when its on

I have a dejon race fmic also. I love mine too no complaints. I don't know why everyone rips on dejon's ICs. I have no problems with mine.

Looking good. I'm sure if you called dave before placing the order you could request the IC without the logo.

anyone have one of these on a 2g? I've been thinking about getting one... the price is right and I think it will handle a green pretty well. Someone have any pictures of it on a 2g? How much cutting has to be done? Thanks!

edit...
just noticed the original poster is going to be installing this on a 2g. could you please post pics of the install? I'm curious as to how much cutting has to be done! Thanks!

Oh we dont have reasons to be picky huh? Whats so hard to understand that we just dont like the logo on there? thats the reason. Im not hating on the FMIC im hating on the DEJON logo, did you get that? or do i have to type it all over again?

look in my profile, i have pix up of my 98 gst with the fmic installed. It is a pain to install if you dont have the right tools but some stuff comes easier to others. I am impressed with mine so far though.

hmm, looks like you had to cut up a lot of the bumper cover so it lost some of it's shape? Is it that big?! Did you have to cut anything to get the shorter piping routed down there? How long does it take to install? Do you think it would be easier to stuff behind a 2gb talon bumper? Sorry for so many questions and kinda jacking the thread, but i guess the information is kinda relavent.

I purchased a dejon 2gfmic, july of last year http://www.dejontool.com/images/DSM-2g FIC/FIC-2gB.JPG
The welding was not the best but acceptable, after about six months, the coupler got dry rotted. While replacing the coupler, I noticed rust inside of lower pipe of the fmic. I removed it, cleaned, alodine prepped it and re-installed it.

I also purchased the intake pipe like this one without the snorkel tube.

In fairness to Dave, replace the couplers

Has anyone had overheating issues with these FMIC's? Ive had mine on my 1st gen for about 2 days now with overheating issues. I have the Race Core.... Anyone care to shed some light?
