The rust mostly in the wheel wells and floors and the engine problems with the v6 models ugh drove me crazy.

Well you found one of the good ones its hard to find a clean rust free body, i had all kinds of problems idk were to begin only with v6 models. plus all the ones i bought were poorly maintained so it was just the ones i ended up with but i know a few guys who have no problems at all with there v6 models 1 is even turboed.

idk how maintained it was but i got off the original owner 115k and hasnt been on the road since 2002, but its runs good

drove it my house yesterday thats about it, if i get it registered tomorrow im going to seafoam it and change the oil change the coolant and air filter. and in the future im thinking of plastidip it black some the tail lights and plastidip the rims but not to sure about it the only thing im sure about are the rims and tails, because i im not really feeling the tails.

i drove it home with t tops off i loved it but it sucked because the car was all dusty from sitting in a garage i kept getting stuff in my eyes

yea ive always liked the body thats why i got it and the bodys in good shape 115k for $700 i can make an easy profit when the winter comes back around

I got a buddy who had an 89 z28 5.0 HO, that was his first car. We went and picked it up from a redneck that was building it for "drag racing." I think he paid $1200 for it. Had cams, edelbrock 4-barrel, edelbrock intake, loudmouth 4-1 headers and exhaust, ratchet shifter, welded rear diff. The thing was an eye soar but man it was fun. You could rip the thing sideways and roast em 50 down the road. Good times.....

took it for a nice ride today in it runs beautiful, just have to replace a vacuum line for the air controls? found out the gas gauge is busted, and the rpm gauge dont work.... i see a very nice profit in my future =]

very fun auto-x car. i can tell you that one from having 3 years of experience with my old RS (it was an auto too). while it's not a rocket by any means, it's not exactly a thristy pig either. i had gotten as high as 33mpg out of my old one. and that was with around 210-230k miles (not exactly certain, oversized rear tires since '92 or '93 without a speedo correction).
