I tune cars and work with a company that re-maps computers on other stock cars and they all work that way. I have also played with enough stand alone systems as well.

ya it might have been that. or i might have just assumed that because at half throttle it just cycles around, it wouldnt be getting read. but at wot when it reads right and doesnt cycle, it was being read by the ecu. so i might have just mis read it i dunno. thanks

Yeah maybe, because when it's flying back and forth is when the ECU is reading it and WOT is when it's not. Your car goes into open loop at WOT and runs from a pre-defined map/table for ignition and fuel which is not affected at all by the O2.

Anyway, no big deal either way.
