Good work on the car, I dont think there is anything wrong with it, But then again I MUST BE A RICER TO THINK THAT, According to everyone on this website with broke down pieces of shit that have more rust and faded paint then a 20year old rain gutter. Get useto the negative comments, This site is getting more and more of them with every response to each thread that is on this website. If it doesnt have a turbo as big as your monitor, It's definatly not cool. I like the times list too, There are people with huge turbo's running slower then people on stock turbo's, good job. Definatly like how the n/t cars are beating the turbo car's in the quater to, in the times list. Do people diss them for having slow cars? Nope.

yea the black handles sorta make it look sleeper but his car is most definitely not a sleeper

I think the black handles obstruct the flow though because it doesn't fit with anything. It's like having a pretty face but a big ass nose :laugh:

Funny thing is my local Mitsu dealer says that colored handle replacements are no longer available. They're all black now. Found this out working on my buddy's '97 GST. Of course, they can paint the handle any color you want... for a price.

Handle = $80 + $35 bucks to color match and paint = $115 for ONE door handle. Crazy Sh*t.

I think the black handles and the mirrors are really good accents to the car if its silver or blue maybe, but they do look awfully silly on the maroon eclipses.

He asked for it man. Its one thing where someone posts a bodykit thread and gets flamed. Its another when the kid says haters welcome. Sure he deserves props, but christ, i worked when i was 14 and have bought all 4 cars i have owned in the last 6 years. So great, he bought a bodykit, send that man a trophy. Bottom line, he said haters welcome and i think it looks horrendous. He got my opinion which is what he was looking for, end of story.

i am a fan of the bomex front... however... i do not in any way agree with putting a bodykit on a car without wheels. im sorry, but kits without wheels looks terrible! and get a back bumper and lower that shit and it will look much better. the bomex front is hard to match, but you NEED a rear.

EDIT: i REALLY hope that is a REAL bomex front..............

If you look most people commended him on actually getting it painted unlike most 17 year olds. Whoever did the fitting and paint did a good job and at least he's not rolling around on hubcaps. My only problem with that front end is the way it sticks out like a table in the front, it ruins the lines of the car. Just about any aftermarket front for the Eclipse would have looked better than that. And don't come back and attack me for calling him a ricer and I'm just hating. Yes I would drive that car if I didn't have another one cause I like having a job and a way to get there. Would I ever drive that car if I had the choice? No, not my cup of tea. My own car willl be going into the body shop soon for a smalll makeover but it won't come out looking like that. So to the original poster, if you like it, enjoy it and props for having a good job done in getting it on.

I am glad to see anyone get involved in the car hobby and at least he is'nt sporting a primed body kit that was stolen off of another car or some other half ass modification, I think people need to lighten up if he is happy then we should all be happy. I go to many different car shows and I always see people commenting about cars even if they seem to like what I don't like but I will still check out the craftsmanship of any modification and admire that if I don't like what it is that they did, I think people need to learn this thing called respect and edict.

Hey, there's this thing called insurance. Kind of hard to pay for a car with a turbo when you're 17.

I've never really liked the Bomex front, and I will agree that it sticks out and doesn't flow. However, all the assholes around that are taking the "haters welcome" thing as far as it can go, you don't have to be a total dick about it.

Also, to all the " GET GO FAST PARTS!!!11oneone" retards, lay off for ####'s sake. Maybe some people, you know, like to do visual mods to their car. I know, I know, it sounds crazy, but it does happen. If he just wanted performance, I'm sure he would've gotten a 1g.

It's an N/A, sure they can be fast with a ton of money in the motor, but maybe that isn't what he was going for in the first place. Why can't anyone just have a car to look good?

Now, you did invite the bashing dude, and kits are not my preference at all after having one on my last car. But, I think you should've gotten the same kit all around... and if since you didn't it doesn't look right. Blitz sides are nasty looking IMO anyway. If you like it, then congrads!!!

And why would it be different colors, it's stock paint.

My friend has the same front end but his is red...as I tell him, its ugly and comes way to far out. You can only imagine how many people just want to go sit on the front of the thing.

1)Not jelous at all, and If I was I would go out and buy a NA 2G and make it ugly.
2)I have a NA Subaru RS, and its very slow. I hate it to death and I am getting a wrx soon. Not to get me wrong I love the RS for its looks, but I prefer power. So yes I would love to drive his car everyday... :laugh:
3))My car isn't any better than his or vice versa, thats all up to the car owner. IMO though I like my 1G way over that table in the front.

My car only doesn't run because I have 2 cars and its winter, and the DSM is getting a change.

I'm sorry the paint on my 1989 1G isn't as nice as a 10 year newer 1999 2G...my bad.

I'm sorry i just found your rant rather amusing. I give you a for starting out and working for what you have. Its nice to see someone actually work for there things, unlike some. Your starting in a direction atleast.

I have had 3 1G's and never had a kit nor ever will. Again I say good job for starting out and doing something to your car. IMO Is not my thing, but if its yours then do it. I'm only 20 and know how it is to be starting out in the job world, it was only 3 years ago now. You get merrit for effort from me. I don't see why people are complaining when its asked for.

Same front and sides as me. I heard bomex uses a wind tunnel to make sure they don't kill you with drag. I also think blitz sides flow better b/c the vent matches the vent in the front bumper. Bomex sides just don't flow. I like it, but I'm partial to it.

i think it looks alright. it's hard to get the "whole picture" though when your pics are close up. i'm sure it looks fine when you can see the whole thing all together. looks like the install went good though. props on that!

Do you guys suggest match painting the bodykit before or after the installation? This may be a stupid question to alot of you but I am a minitrucker and just bought a Eclipse and don't know much about fixing up cars like you guys do.
