My friend needs help......

My friend has a 95 eclipse n/t. The engine has 203,000 miles on it. Yes i know thats alot. Heres his question. He wants to know if he should do a engine swap to a 4g63 or turbo the engine he already has. I told him to sell his car and get a gst or gsx but he said he wont do that for some reason. I think if he turbos the engine he already has he will damage it due to how many miles are already on it. What do you guys think. He wont sell his car. Oh and im asking this for him because he doesnt have internet access rite now

If he's hell bent on keeping the car tell him to swap out the engine to a 6-bolt. That is all.

its prolly best to get a new car or put a new 420a in it and then turbo it. putting a 4g63 in a 420a setup eclipse would be way to much hassle you would need more then then engine, you would need a completely different tranny and it would take alot of other work/parts, its not worth it in any way because of cost and work. I wouldnt turbo a engine with 200,000 miles unless i did a complete rebuild first. Tell him his best three options are get a new 420a and put it in there(or rebuild the one he has), get a new 420a DSM, or my favorite....get a turbo AWD DSM.
