My first car, RIP

if you guys didnt know my first car was a red 95 rs, going back up to my buddies house on a rainy night (tonight) , i glanced down to change the song on my cd player, looked up and was just about at the turn, was going about 45 so i slammed the brakes cuz i was almost at the edge, the brakes locked and i slid, i jerked the wheel to the left, and went off a bout a 3ft ditch and into a dirt embankment.... i dont know but im pretty sure the hole front end is #@%#@%#@%#@%ed, i loved that car and it feels like im dreaming, it seems like im going to wake up tomorrow and the car will be fine...

Wow can i sympathize... i bought a 95 GS-T this summer with 66k miles for 7,000 even. The day after i bought it i was going around a slight curve and looked down for 1/2 second to turn on my AC, and looked up to see an explorer... I tried to steer out of the way while hitting the breaks, but they locked up (THANKS ABS) and i slid into the trailer hitch of that big SUV. Only some hood and radiator damage, but the insurance company wouldnt pay for repairs, they just declared it totalled and gave me a check.

But there is a silver lining to every dark cloud... the check was for $10,400. $3400 in one day... i bought a 96 GS-T fully loaded a month later for 9,800 + tax

It will work out man. In the end, you'll be happier with your new forced induction car... But i am sorry you had to go through that
