Since I cant post this in the fab threads I'll just post it here.

Just wanted to see what you guys thought of my manifold set up. Made it from sch. 10 stainless fittings. I'm waiting to get the engine in my car to see how much room I have for the wastegate. I'm going to run a HX40 with the bullseye turbine housing. The HX40 in the pictures isn't mine, its my buddies.

Just so you dont think I'm talking out of my butt,Here's some pics of the one that i did 2 years ago out of mild steel,I did it out of mild because i was on a budget at the time,I think my next manifold is going to be a top mount one , I think the top mounts looks better, I think the flow rate is about the same depending on the length of the tubes and the od and id, what to see if this one is going to hold up first.Oo I'm not trying to steal your customers its just nice to see someone else fabian here.

yea it's on but i don't like it, That's why I want to do a top mount one out of stainless,Before I do. I got to see if the mild works out first,Im having issues with the oil pump assembly right now it keeps leaking from the top somewhere.Did you make a jig for the one you made?

Na, I didn't make a jig. I got lucky because I thought the top of the compressor housing wasn't going to clear the hood but it does. I do however have to get a new radiator since the outlet is blocked by the turbo. Ohhh well...

Ok, so I got my mandrel bends and V-bands and started my downpipe tonight. So, here it is.

It's a pretty simple design, I made this in just a couple hours.

Might be a dumb question but where are you going the run the wastegate?

Not a dumb question, I'm just waiting to get the wastegate and my new radiator so that I know that everything clears. Just going to run it off the front of the collector and probably 90 it toward the drivers side so it can dump back in the downpipe.

Got my wastegate and radiator, so I got busy! Now I just need to get some 1 1/2" stainless bends to finish the wastegate dump back into the downpipe.

Got a newer phone, and found that it takes worse pictures.. makes sense right?

OP, awesome stuff right there, I really wish I had the equipment and skills to fab this myself... Props man.

Oh, and awesome user name, best technical metal band imo.

Looks awesome man!

Only thing I'd be nervious about is the wastegate may hit some radiator fins when the engine rocks back and fourth....Such as after a hard WOT pull or during an AWD launch.

Yeah, I know. I gutted a lot out of the cross member to make the radiator sit as far away as possible. I have nearly 1/2" clearance between the wastegate and radiator.

But I do have Prothane mounts in so that will definitely help!
