Alright, so I was driving my car today after I woke up.

I had my uncle replace my alt belt for me due to work constaints and it was all done correctly.

Well going down the road I was driving fine then BAM, car dies.

I pulled over inspected fuses. Engine fuse was blown. Uncle came and helped and without me knowing swapped a 40A fuse into it and told me to start it.

Car ran 15 seconds then fried the o2 wire and died again.

I fixed the wires (just needed to be retaped and checked)
Well, car starts, but WILL NOT rev past 2k what could be causing this?

Possibly the ECU is bad?

This sounds retarded but check the connection on the negative terminal of the battery. When trying to drive it does it act like it's hitting a wall right around boost?

You sure its a boost leak. It popped the engine fuse. That sounds ecu related to me. Boost leak doesn't sound plausible as the car just up and died then I found the blown fuse. After replacing the fuse my o2 wire tried to melt. I'm at a loss.

Bud, it takes like 5 min. to pull the ecu you out and open it up, literally. Do it, might also smell too. You can check to be on the safe side. Have you replaced the plugs and wires?
Also is it not revving past 2k in gear? Or you doing this in neutral?

Bud, I know.

Here's the thing, I'm working on stuff with AEDC all day. I don't have time to get to my car.

I'll check the ECU yes. It won't rev past 2 in gear or while in neutral.

I see you have an SAFC check the wiring on that as well, could easily be the cause.

Well from what a friend said, it sounds like the ECU.

As when we stupidly sat a 40A fuse in the 20A engine fuse block, it fried my o2 wires.

So ECU is the cause most likely?

SAFC still operates as normal?

Just got a Eprom'ed ECU last night from a 95. How do I alternate the plug wires to make it work?

Imo i think you should check your plugs and wires and if you have coilpacks check your wiring under the cover. I had basically the same problem, car would idle very well, i would rev it in neutral and i would swear i was hitting the rev limiter at 5k. I would drive and stomp it and it would backfire like an srt4. It turned out to be bad wiring to the coil packs
