My dsm problems :(

My set up is 1997 eclipse gst with 6bolt swap using 1g camshaft position sensor.

Last night it threw camshaft position sensor, took off the sensor cleaned it up with electric parts cleaner followed one wire down cleaned it up and retaped it since it was loose and oily. Ran good all night then today it started up and threw angle sensor again and would not run longer than 5 seconds..wiggled some wires unplugged then replugged some clips and got it to run to work with cel on. Got off work and drove it home still had to wiggle wires to have it run for a while. Got home then was planning on leaving again but car would not even crank over..just threw camshaft position code. Push started it got it to the shop..going to take the sensor off again and solder the wires and make sure they're going to the right spot. I found the wiring diagram to wire it up so hope this fixes it..what should I check for though?

If you have a 6-bolt there isn't even a spot to mount the crank sensor. I have broken a crank sensor before and my car would go nowhere fast at all. So that should fix your problem long as you set your timing correctly. And check the knock sensor to see if it is good. Reach behind the intake to feel for a sticky tar on the back of the block.

well my starter signal wire had came lose thats why it would not crank. I soldered the wires on the CAS to the clip and the white wire that goes to the crank sensor clip. just have to put this power steering belt on and I'll be good to start it up and idle it to see if any other codes come on
