For some reason when cars get dusty, the first thing to get drawn on them is a penis.
Truth. It's a penis, my friends just suck at drawing. They're obviously Honda guys so when they touch the car they think something bad will happen to them, LOL.

^^ You bastard.

:p

You actually own a friggin' lift?! You're one lucky SOB. :thumb:

Hey Scott,

You got your Eclipse back? I looked at the date this thread was made and it was from last month.

I bought a lift last fall. The lift fit fine and installation was simple. I tested it with no load on it. Then I pulled the DSM in and put up it up for a clutch install. What I didn't relize was that the lift can extend with nothing on it, but with a car it won't. I put the Talon clear through the second floor into the kitchen.

I can use my grandfathers garage with a lift and just about any tool you can think of when he has no work left. Thats not me in the pic, its a friend of mine when the new tranny was going in (the "new" tranny is shot so i have to get another one)

You realize that you have those arms extended way too far dont you? That can be very dangerous, look at how they are starting to flex. Those should be picking the car up at the body lines at the rocker panels.

been bored looking at garage threads on all my forums, bummmppppp

I live at home, and we have a 2 car garage.
My parents are pretty awesome with it. I had my talon in there for a whole year while I parted it out, and then I stored my eclipse in there to work on as well.. While they had their car outside all winter.

Sort of what it looked like while I was parting it out..

Great for working on my car.. I caused a lot of oil stains, but my parents have not complained (much)

I only have a basic tool set and a small air compressor, but it gets the job done. Plus I usually have the full garage to work in and I can take my time so I can rent tools when needed.

These are the only pics of my garage I could find. My old GSX and the TSI now. Shop's not mine, but I have full access to it whenever the hell I need or want with my own key and security code. Pretty sweet, and I'm totally spoiled with it, cause now I never wanna work on the floor or driveway.

Next things to come (this year?) are a 2 post lift and a bubble balancer... then we should have everything you could ever need.
