I work in the Grass.... or the Carport, whats a garage?

I remember one time, I believe it was here, there was a guy with a really nice HOME garage. Had his on dyno and everything.

I remember seeing something recently about someone doing something similar. Perhaps I saw it on "Car Crazy". Not sure.

Anyways, he turned his basement (which he never used) into a full drive-in garage. This thing could probably pack 15-20 cars, bumper-to-bumper, door-to-door. Insane. What's more, the basement was underground, so it wasn't an easy job to do.

Well you should be able to see sheets of wood under my car. Thats what i lay on in the summer. Better then worms and bugs on ya. Also that white is snow and ice. Well whats left. The rest is dog poo..... My dog poo's a good foot away from where i work so i have to do my engine stuff around live mines. Also some bricks to keep the cover on.

That is 100% awesome... I would have brought it in and set it out as an Xmas ornament during christmas just to piss her off. Maybe tether it to the tree and lay the tree on its side.

Whats a "garage"? My tools from school are always at school so when I go home to work on my car its in the car port in the gravel with a socket set. Unless it can make the 10 min drive to my friends garage that has zero insulation. Sucks being spoiled at school with lifts and concrete floors and the ability to use air tools in the heated shop then going home to the car port.

I'm in an apartment now, with a deeeeep 1cg. Really not much in the way of anything in there besides the Galant (the 1G above was hauled off to the yard last month). I don't have any pictures of it yet, but I'm sure I will before too long.

And for my brothers still wrenching in the elements, here's a shot of where my first (and second) rebuilds went on. This picture was taken in mid-June in Phoenix. We HAD to buy the tarp for shade and, even with the TWO home made mister systems we put together (one of which leaked and left hard water deposits on my roof), tools left on the ground (even in the shade, mind you) were confirmed to be well above 150*. When the misters went down, all work stopped while four or more grown men rushed to the scene to figure out how to fix it NOW.

I've done brakes, full suspension, trasmission and turbo stuff out in our apartment's parking lot for 2 years now.

Yeah I hear ya. I am always yelling at my messy dad to keep things clean. I feel bad for some of these guys who dont even have a garage to work in.

Here is a little sample of my massive garage cleanup/renovation project. After I went out and bought a much larger tool box I decided that the whole garage needed to look as nice as my new box did. What a project that has turned out to be.... Its not close to done yet, but you get the idea.

ehh my talons is stored in my friends garage with 2 mustangs, 2 harleys, a 04 turbo'd 4 door civic and tons of tools, ill try and get pics this weekend to post, other then that...my other garage is my work, where theres a dyno (2 wheel) and a shit load of shelby cobras....i work at a ford dealership hahahaha....i can get pics of that too if you guys are that intrested

Here is where I work on my car....and also where my bro works on his srt-4 (gt3076r, aem ems, 443whp). Not a bad place, not the greatest. Notice the pic when we were both installing FMICs ...He blew the endtank on one and was putting in another...he already had welded the other side, but the opposite side blew, and he just got a new one instead of welding the other side. Hes currently parting out the car and turning to the dark side . These are just a few random pics I got from my T28 and FMIC install. Last pic is all of the cars in the family minus my dads motorcycle and jeep...this was before I sold my 96 GS (red 2gb converted).

Oh ya that room in the garage is my dads music studio.
