I too will play along , also please excuse the mess as I am re-modeling the house and there is so much crap in the way thats house related it really clutters up the look.
But I have a entertainment center with surround sound for football games/races/etc... on one side,on the other my work bench with compressor, spare engine , heads, clutches, other misc parts,a/c-d/c converter for my stereo setup with a test bench for audio equipment, all my tools and lots of shelving/compartments for misc stuff,

Wow, some of you guys really got it made with your "garagaes" aka enourmous depots! Proprs to the guy working outside on his!

Wow. You all have it made. I'd kill for a garage.

Try having:
1 mini KLX 110cc dirtbike (play bike)
1 50cc play bike
1 200cc enduro bike w/ legal street tags
2 250cc RACE Bikes.
1 250cc practice bike.
*all the parts inbetween*
1 DSM.

We have a trailer for the bikes but the DSM does not fit in there.

I do ALL my work in front of my house in the street. Literally.

You know you can stop by my house to actually work in a garage... :D

I damn sure will next time we're both back in FL.:D

Not the biggest garage ever but it works. Its really cluttered now because we just moved in this house not long ago and stuff is being stored in here for now.

Factor in the 2003 Chev Malibu missing from the picture, and my shortblock sitting in front of the car which is now parked nose-out. There is literally one foot exactly between my car and the Malibu, 1/2" between the rear bumper and the freezer, and about 1-1/2 feet between my car and the miscellaneous ish against the shelving. Only room to work is by the garage door, which is about 3-1/2 feet with the door closed.

Cold as all getout too. Three space heaters don't make a dent in temperature.

If you want to check out a bada$$ garage look through the pages of pictures in this thread...OMG http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2122

I've seen better. Anyone remember the garage that had a friggin lift in it, with the black-and-white tile flooring? It was spotless. I'll see if I can find the link.

EDIT: After 20 minutes of searching, I finally found the thread (obviously, not mine):

I remember that, but come on, it's not even near the size and has no equipment, crane, etc. You know it's just the Porsche that makes it nice.:D The one I posted has a full machine shop and 6 lifts for heavens sake! Plus that racedeck is crap. I'd rather just have a nice epoxied floor.

True enough (except for the "You know it's just the Porsche that makes it nice" part). I suppose most of us guys would rather have a nice grungy, grimy garage with everything just about everywhere, instead of having a garage even the wife can be happy with. As some would put it, we're just grown boys who like to get dirty!

Thought I'd post up some pics of my Garage where all the work goes down on my car and friends included.

Complete with surround sound stereo and 10 disc cd changer. More then enough drop, utility lights, and extension cords. 125 psi air compressor w/tools. 1 rolling work bench. A sturdy vice and grinding wheel - On top a fine grain, soft wood work bench. Stainless sheet metal floor pan for catching all that oil. All your basic tools and then some.

whats up with the lightning??? you on SVTP???

OK I'll join in. One side is mine and the other is the wife's (that I encroach on daily)

to the left of my car IS my garage. But seeing as im a kid. My dads bike gets the room. Along with the deck furnature(cost more then my car so it gets priority) And my dads 2nd set of truck tires. Lawn mower and other random stuff. I DID happen to make room in the back for my engine when i work on it.

So yeh my garage is that tarp. My work zone is a small one. about 6ft of space to cram a engine in and move around it.

Not quite mine yet but I will be closing on it and the house the first of March. 32"x32" so I should have enough room for 1 car at a time. Now, All I need to do is furnish it. Currently, all I am using is a 50'x60 area of warehouse space at work but have no pics of it. Im tired of having to drive to my shop. I prefer for it to be at home so I can drink a few while working on my pos.

Looks like the roof on the garage has the right orientation for a lift:sneaky: I think you cans get a nice lift for about 1500 to 2500. I am looking for a house and the roofs are the wrong way on the garage.

I remember one time, I believe it was here, there was a guy with a really nice HOME garage. Had his on dyno and everything.
