My clutch pedal feels "different"

The clutch pedal feels really weird. When I press down it doesn't seem to go as far, and when I left off of it, it kicks and feels like there is no pressure. It took me a couple times to get into reverse this morning. I noticed this yesterday. Also the clutch was replaced at the end of june.

who replaced the clutch? If it wasnt bled properly, that could be your problem...........its an easy check and fix. you might wanna do it yourself just to make sure and see if thats your problem......

mine did the same thing after it was replaced, then i got crankwalk so i dont know if it was related to crankwalk or not.

ok i figured out the problem. there is no pressure because there is no fluid in the slave cylinder. so i bought dot 4 fluid, but i dont have a wrench that i can use to loosen the bleeder screw. any suggestions?

buy a wrench or use an adjustable wrench

that's about all you can do, buy or borrow a wrench. Make sure to have a friend with you to push down the pedal when you are going to bleed it.

If you can't find a helper, pick up a speed bleeder.

I don't know what size, take the whole slave cylinder with you and find the right one.

Hydralauic clutch systems are sealed systems meaning...the fluid just can't go away. There is a leak somewhere and if you don't notice any fluid then it's probably an internal leak for the clutch master cylinder look under the dash at the clutch pedal assembly and you should see a boot with a cylinder coming out of it that is right behind the clutch look around that seal to see if there's any fluid coming out of there.
