Well. my car has a very very strange problem. I will be driving down the road like normal and when i come to a stop occasionally my car will have a rough idle and/or just die. not really sure why. Then immediately afterwords it will fire right back up. I have lots of theories, but not so sure if a few are in the right direction. any input? thanks.

What codes are you throwing? This could have you trouble shoot anything?

Could be igniton or fuel problem. My gut says dieing fuel pump.

No codes at all. i have checked eveything. and my fuel pump is only a few months old, its a TRE 255lph. its not a serious problem. moreover a thorn in my foot

Possibly the ecm? Mine did this a little while before it decided to finally just die.

do you have a BOV vented to atmosphere? if so it could be running rich/lean and just dies when your stopping after a drive. expecially if you were boosting. try recirculating it if so.

Are you venting your bov to the atmosphere? My car used to do that when I first got it. Recirculated and it ran perfect.

Yes it is recirculated. I'm new to the forum. but I have been into dsm's for a few years. but i'm a rotorhead at heart

Yes it is, it has a perfect idle, about 14.5-14.8 on the wideband.

I think you may have a bad ecu. My 1st car did that occasionally until I had a keydiver chipped ecu put into it.

Have you checked the your spark plugs/wires?

Well I'm about to go to DSMlinkv3 anyways, with a new ECU so it shouldnt be a problem after that, if that is the problem.

plugs and wires are good also. I thought it was a misfire but it isnt.
