hello everyone, I recently started a build on my 95 talon TSI AWD. I purchased the car a few weeks ago and have been working on it since. My plans include ABS delete, fuse box relocation, wire tuck, engine bay shave, air bag delete, cruise delete, and many other things that I cant remember right now LOL. Ill be honest, im not being the most original Im using essentially what some other members did, (Game_over, and turbosax2) reading these threads actually kind of motivated me to go ahead and start this project. Anyway pictures speak volumes so here is some of my progress.

bondo is being used to kind of blend where all the metal bits are spot welded together. trying to get the engine bay a smoother look.

Looks like a PITA to do, wish I had that patience. It'll look real nice when its done though :hellyeah:

Ah, remember more is less. Also choose a good brand, I prefer Evercoat over Bondo brand body fillers.
Personally I'd stitch weld it, grind it smooth and use Evercoat Metal Glaze on it.

Check out the shaved/tucked thread on Honda-Tech; there is a lot of good information on there that is useful for doing a tuck on any vehicle.

There are a lot of WTF moments in those pictures.. and that bondo is just asking to crack in that amount..

May I ask why you want to delete the airbag? If you aren't going to install other safety measures like a harness, I wouldn't delete the airbag especially if your going to drive it on public roads.

If he's really into it ... i'd give him no more than 2 months tops

yeah im working a couple hours a day, if its nice out im outside working on the body. if its not im doing wiring or working on the block or whatnot. 2 months would be a little quick, im hoping to have it road worthy in like 4-5 months. oh and to the question about air bags, i do plan to add 4 point harnesses (maybe 5 idk yet), and racing seats of some sort.

a little update the abs found a new home, and i really dug into the wiring; which is actually going smoother than anticipated.

this is a picture of the fusebox harness, pretty much everything is deleted already, sorry i should have taken more pictures but I just kind of got in the zone. i plan to put the fuse box where the passenger air bag was located. running one section out the right and left side with no wires running under the radiator.

this is the amazing amount of wiring pulled from just two harnesses, the dash and the fusebox.
