The only great thing about the Army is that

1) We almost can't get fired
2) We get a year at a time in Iraq tax free, where we have nothing better to do than spend money on our DSM.

The recession doesnt mean anything to us, since we get paid peanuts as it is!

More on point to the thread, I have been following this for many months now, and have to say I am extremely impressed by your build quality. Even with that adapter on your manifold for the Tial, it still looks like a beast under the hood. Great work!

^ Recession, never heard of it LOL... Im young but been a Sergeant since 20 when I went to Iraq. I handle my business, so what could I say. I don't get paid peanuts for sure.......

i love this but only dislike one thing and that is the exhaust... imo it looks tacky with the pipe sticking out so far from the bumper in the third picture... is it straight pipe from the dp back?

Yes 4" from the dp all the way out. Im gonna see if I can find a muffler that is 4" or just leave it like that. If it was further in, I think it start melting my bumper.

FAN-FREAKIN-tastic!! Wow amazing set up, love the attention to detail. And love that she's a 1g. Git her rockin already! 2 thumbs way up in the effin air!!

There's definitely a recession, just affects some people different. I probably have more money spent on cars than anyone here and can admit that it isn't always the smartest thing to do. I make sure when I buy stuff that its at a price I could either come up or at least make my money back if need be, but even so there are definite better things to waste our money on.

I haulted spending money on my Talon to get a house (yay I got my garage now) and then ball it out with all the fancy doo-dads, and just when I was going to get back on the Talon, I bought yet another car. I'm crazy like that but I count my blessings. Hopefully none of it comes back to bite me in the ass but so far so good. I think its time for a boat next LOL. I'm only 23 so I guess I gotta get in al my stupid fun now before I have my midlife crisis.

Keep up the good work, when I see guys with all this money into their cars, I hope they have homes and other assets that can be deemed as investments. Its hard to see people have misfortunes and then all they have to show for anything is a built up bucket that runs sometimes.

Keep up the good work bro, car looks great. I must say military guys normally have nice rides. You guys have it easy LOL.

Recession hits everyone one. I feel it no matter how much money I have or make. I wasn't being serious but you have to smile at the bad sometimes to get by. I been to Iraq, I know how it feels to wake up and be happy a day less over there. I wanted to treat myself to some goods things because of this, thats all.

Looks like a Sleeper 2 me... As long as the hood is closed LOL

Did you start a build forum? I'm only asking this because I don't want you to base your build off of mines. If would be easier to know what you have, as will as kowing what you want to do, and etc. Go into the Newbie section, create a forum. This would not only let me give you better advice but it would allow many others who know more than me to shine on it as well. Thank you :thumb:

If you want some information on what I have, start from the beginning. I believe I have put enough information on what I have.

I seriously hope you are joking, otherwise please join the military and let us know if you still feel the same in a year or so.

Other than that, nice build. :thumb:

I didn't even catch that last part. Shit easy my ass! You go to baghdad Iraq at 20, leave your entire life behind, and see no difference over there. 120+ degrees and mud from rain I cant even explain. Bombs going off shaking the ground from under you. Full of Sergeants that cant do shit but want you to make a world of difference for them on ya own. Racist bitches trying to keep me from getting promoted but couldn't stop me for making Sergeant at 20.

Also you have to make it through all the training to even get that far with shitty pay at first. Than when you get hurt like me they wanna give me a Lump sum of money:barf:, #### them, Im fighting for them to pay me for the rest of my life.

I have several friends currently serving and quite a few others that have served in the past. Which is why I felt the need to say something about that comment. Also, unfortunately, people do get injured and the government will try to dick you for benefits if at all possible.

With that being said, thanks for serving our country bud! Even those most people don't realize what it is like, nor will ever be able to understand I do appreciate what you have done for me and this country.

Good luck with your build and your ongoing battles.
