So I have a 92 model talon AWD Auto. I have a build date of Jul 91. From all the searching I have done this seems to be a 6bolt motor. My question is That means that I have a bad rear diff? I am going to do alot to the tranny. And from the looks of it my ECU is not an EPROM. =( I pulled out the radio to check the fuse in the back and looked at the ECU. It didnt have the holes where you could see the eprom chips solder points. =( But odd enough I looked up on DSMLink the list of EPROM ECU's and mine which is the MD165531 they show to be an EPROM ECU. Is there a mix of some MD165531's that were and weren't? Why isn't there a standard that they followed when putting in ECU's. And where would my TCU be located? I have been told you can tune this as well or is that not true? Is datalogging possible?
