Finally I'm revealing what I've been up to after all these months. It's been since January or something like that since I've sold my engine. Took down the car in the fall on 2007.

2.0 bored .020 over with original oil squirters
b-shaft elimination
arp head studs
arp main studs
arp rod bolts
eagle H-beam rods
wiseco .020 8.3:1 cr pistons
machined block deck surface for 4 layer mitsu steel HG
slowboy racing stage 5 head
-manley SS stock sized valves
-manley titanium springs/retainers
-viton stem seals
-bronze guides
-3g lifters (revised for no ticking)
comp101200 camshafts
90 style oil filter housing
ACL race main bearings
ACL .010 over crank/rod bearings
full balanced rotating assembly
.033 piston to wall clearance
.019 top ring
.017 bottom ring, if memory serves me correctly
all professionally assembled

Engine was align honed, bored with a torque plate.
All timing components are mitsu, NAPA water pump (i like their design better, they have a better wheel design then OEM, just my personal preference)

All gaskets are OEM.

My turbo setup:
t67 setup

Straight line specialties t3 manifold with XL runners 850$
t67 p-trim t3 DBB .82ar $1400
tial 40mm WG is $275 i believe...
Has 4k miles on it.

Going in (It's a lot cleaner looking now;old picture):

What ever happened to that JDM Evo engine you had, Rob?

Oh wow I can't believe you still remember that. ha ha
I sold that awhile ago for some $$ and a carbon hood.

JJrock you are correct!

And thanks, for the garage size. Luckily my relative let me use it if I cleaned it out. Just needs a heater now for this winter.

A lot better than working outside during the winter.

Ha ha no it's not :p well minus the hot cocoa and marshmellows.

However burning old parts sure is something I did over the summer ;] , not my parts but a buddies of mine. He melted his stock bov and stock IC piping and other various things LOL

I prefer to put those parts on the shelf, like they are trophies, but I guess that's another way to go about it. LOL

Thanks..Brandon*, Sid, & Tom for last night.

Car was moved around in the garage so there's more room to work with now. Even though the car is taking up most of the garage now!

The rear subframe (GST) was put back in along with the rear suspension. The gas tank was not as I'm still waiting for parts from STM to be delivered.

Next we're the two front tires. Done.
ABS removed, well most of it. Still a few lines left for it, nothing major.

Still waiting for the parts from another vendor.

I mounted a lot of the bolt-ons so far. I probably will have to take them apart before I drop in the tranny so I can get a better idea where I want to place things.

Still waiting for my mounts! Grrr ;[

The package from ExtremePSI weighed 50LBS. Big a$2 BOX! ha

Looks very good!:thumb:

Just curious where are you relocating you fuse box?

And are you going to be using an external oil cooler? or no..thanks

I had three different ideas.

1st Idea: Inside the glove box..

2nd idea: Under the battery try but the JM Fab mounts a lot lower than I though so I might have to scratch that or figure out something

3rd idea: Passenger side area under the headlights

It's really hard at this point without the engine being in. I have to run the wires to see what I need to eliminate and keep and extend.

The external oil cooler is going to be used. I have it listed under one of the products I bought from Extreme. It will go on the driver side area of course. :]

And yeah dude it was Christmas! I didn't even bother taking a picture of the inside of the box ha. I'll just wait for the engine shots later

I won't have time to work on the car until SUNDAY School and work..
next week is spring break so I might have a lot more time then :]

Does that box say DO NOT LAY FLAT?
It looks to be laying down to me...

Haha shhh yeah it does. The worst part was I took the day off work and school because a signature was required..

The worst part was it didn't come in until 7PM! Basically the whole day I spent at home waiting q.q

But I laid it down so I can jump on top of it and bow chicka bow wow and open the box up. ;]

I had to go to the garage today and pick up some things. Such as the battery and the titanium wrap and spray paint.

Haven't done much.

The most essential part that I need is not in yet. Waiting upon the motor mounts so I can drop in the engine and start my wire tuck, according to lengthening the wires and what not to the right length and etc.

Without the motor I can't really put all my goodies inside the bay and leave them permanent, until then just thought I'd made a quick update.
