Yeah I've read that to but also read that wiesco break. The gauge read 12psi 3 wot and smoke everywhere think it had to do somtning with the fuel to air ratio

yeah, looks like you had ic pipe going from the turbo to the tb. that also gonna mess with the a/f ratio anything above 6psi i think i read need to have a front mount/side mount

Yeah I did. I had a intercooler but not enough pipe and didnt want to wait haha

Got my pistons in today! I've had my rods for a while though.
Hopefully the block will be going to the machine shop in a couple of weeks. Gonna have it bored, hot tanked, balanced, crank re ground,

So yesterday I sanded my hood and today I primed it tomorrow I will paint it and clear coat it to match my engine bay. Ill upload the finish product tomorrow.

I still need to get a new body kit and do some body work. Ill be doing the next paint job with a paint gun.

I have that obx turbo manifold and I love it. Its nice than the cast mani IMO. Fitment is great. I know 4 others with this mani with 0 issues.

Id stay away from the ram horn if I were you. I have one here that's never been run and was modded for a 38mm wastegate (and its cor sale ) but it won't fit if you have ac, if you flip the turbo it may work but you would need either a half radiator or slim fans at the least. I'm not willing to loose my ac so I won't be using it and it is very close to the upper hose

Builds looking good tho man. Mine should be getting boost soon. Just waiting on the MS to get here

Sent the head to the machine shop yesterday to get a valve job and resurface the head. Picked it up today 200 bucks for the job, just gonna run a shock head for now. Gonna hopefully send the block to the Machine shop within the next week or so. Here are some pics.

Well getting a step closer. I just dropped off the block to get bored, cleaned, and, balanced. I'll post pics when I get it back next week.

Not gonna lie, the head looks like it had a really crappy resurface job done, especially for a mls hg. U might wanna send that back and tell them to hit a 20ra or better, u might have sealing issues otherwise..

The other option u have if u want a stroker is a cloud car block swap. Grab a 2.4 from a stratus, cirrus or breeze and throw the dohc head on it.

Other than that, looks good so far. Good luck with it
