my 2g wont start!!!!!

Okay this all started when i put in a cold air intake, at first i thought the throttle wasn't getting air somehow but den i disconnected the intake and still and its not the battery because headlights turn on and gave it a boost, i think its either the distributor or the gas pump because I have been smelling gas when i am driving...can anyone help my car wont start ?


**UPDATE**
So today i checked the fuel pump and it worked right away when i turned on the ignition switch, so it cant be that. Then i checked to see if the coilover pack was sending sparks to the spark plug and i found out that it wasnt doing its job so i switched the coilover pack for another one i had, and still nothing. Then i checked the fuse and they all look good. So what do you guys think.....my best bet now would either the wiring that goes to the coilover pack or the ECU computer.

try checking crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensor.

i would still test the coil further..check and make sure you have a good connection at the coil itself.. see if its getting a good ground and voltage for the primary winding.
