my tsi wont start

i have a 92 Talon TSI awd i recently changeed my tranmission when i got it in the car wouldn't start. when i turn the key there is a really loud noise until i push the clutch in. i disconnected the plug that allows you to start the car when the clutch isn't in and the sound went away. right when i turn the key i can hear the fuel pump working, but when i turn the key to start , nothing happens. what could be wrong with my

wait so after you took unplugged the clutch safety switch, the car doesnt do anything?

AS in no clicks? no cranking? any kind of noise?

no it doesn't click or crank, i've never heard that noise before either, it was a loud electrical noise that sounded like the door was open or something but it wasn't that

Do any of the lights come on in the car??
check your ground wires...mite possibly be a ground wire sumwher and not anything big.

no none of the lights come on in the car. ill check the ground wires now, any idea which wires it would be not allowing the starter to work?

Well check all the wires going to and from the battery. Also to and from the starter.

Sounds like a ground wire not connected. Sounds like something basic.

^^ yea do that, Check all the battery wires, and also the ground wire coming from the alternator.

If all wires are hooke dup, make sure they're tight and not touching any metal besides the battery terminal.
