Well I recently started a build on my 90 Tsi. It was originally just going to be a motor build, big turbo blah blah blah. Well I decided to pretty much attempt a restoration since I have a place to keep it. I plan on having the car being street-able with full interior and moderate weight reduction. I also am planning clean up the wiring harness by getting rid of unnecessary plug ins and their wires, along with possibly relocating my fuse box. Well enough with the babbling here's some pics.

Interior: Keep in mind, most of this stuff is going back in. This is part of the cleaning/resto project.

LOL ive herd of frame off but this is "take all the shit Off" restoration LOL

Man I want to do that so badly but I started with taking off Stuff and Go see how that has panned out for me in 5 years of DD the car...

Looks like you're having fun =). May seem like a lot of work (which it is), but it will be a very amazing car and probably one of the cleanest out there especially for it's age once you fire it up.

I see that now that we are done with the teardown and I want to cry when I think about the rebuild LOL. But at least now I have some free wrench hours coming my way haha.

Cool! Strip it all the way down put it on a rotisserie, blast it, stich/seam weld it, paint, and reinstall fresh everything.

If you have money and time that is. LOL

Nice build. I am doing the same too just started on mine! how far are you going to go as far as the engine build?!?!?

Sweet man, stick with it. The end resault is well worth the effort. Seeing it all shined up is an awsome feeling.
