I hate that I've been in the DSM game for 10 years and still have to ask these types of questions because I can't solve them but here goes:

As most of you know I blew up my converter at the Shootout and only last week got the car back together. During that time I pulled the dash back out and pulled the interior harnesses out of the car because I was sure I was going to have the additional points put on my cage. Fast forward to today, I didn't get the rest of the cage installed and decided to put everything back in the car. I did that and the car started up fine. No problems, right? Everything worked fine before I pulled everything out so it should all work afterward, right? Wrong.

At the moment, the taillights, brake lights, headlights/side markers, and dash gauge cluster illumination no longer work. I turn the multi-switch on the steering column and nothing happens. Also, I'm blowing the turn signal fuse under the dash. The warning lights in the gauge cluster work like the battery light, oil light, etc. and the tach and speedo work but the backlights do not. I jumpered the brake lights using the upper 2-pin connector from the brake switch and the bulbs themselves work just fine.

I have found that the battery, taillight, and headlight fuses in the engine bay fuse box are all intact and the brake light fuse under the dash is also still intact but the turn signal fuse keeps blowing. I tried fuses up to 30A and it still blew. It doesn't blow until I turn the ignition to ON (don't have to crank). I have also pulled the dash back out to check for loose ground wires or forgotten connectors with no success.

Am I missing something seriously stupid or do I have a real problem? I'm pretty much a wiring noob. Wiring gauges, crimping, etc. is easy but when I have problems that require multimeters and such, I get lost. Help?
