Muffler inlet matter?

I have a full 3 inch exhaust with a greddy evo muffler and wanted to switch it out to an apexi dunk megaphone muffler. My question is would the smaller inlet of the dunk muffler cause any restrictions?

If its smaller then yes, if its not then no.

Shouldn't be an issue unless you're making a ton of power...i have a full dunk exhaust on my car and i got rid of the muffler a long time ago, i hate it, just way too big...
