My headlights have always bothered me but I never really had the time to check what's wrong because I'm always fixing something else. So here I am thinking that it's just the adjustment that's wrong but of course it doesn't go down that easy.

My driver's side lamp is much brighter than the passenger side.

And when I turn on the high beams, this is what happens:

Even with the lights off, when I flash the high beams only the driver's side lamp actually turns on.

What should I do?

Never mind, oddly the problem solved itself. :hmm:

Solved itself? Sounds bizarre to me :(! However, in any situation that one head light turns on but not the other, step one is to check the nonperforming headlight (be it main or high-beam).

Yeah I pulled out the bulbs and checked the wiring, the passenger bulb just wasn't as bright. I put everything back together as it was getting dark outside. I don't know why it fixed itself, it has always been like that but now it suddenly works fine. I'll update if anything goes wrong, which usually doesn't take very long. :sneaky:

to me it looks like your passenger side wiring is screwed up and both high and low beam lights are lighting up when just your low beams are on. i would check for a short on that side. moving the wiring around to check the bulbs probably moved the shorted wires apart but im sure they will find there way back together

I've seen this problem in many other cars, it always ends up being a ground issue. The passenger side is not grounded, and is getting a little ground from the other side. You need to check that all wires are clean and tight.

Yeah the problem just came back. I'll make sure to go over the wiring (does anyone have a diagram) and check out the problem. I can't do it right now since the car is still hot.

Strangely this occurs to my right signal. Even though my bulbs are perfectly fine it flashes quickly. Sometimes if I mess with the bulb in the tail light it returns to normal.

I'm no electrical guru but I was sorta thinking it had to do with the ground wiring but I'm not sure where they're grounded.

There is a single ground on each side of the front corners of the car for all the lights on that corner. Therefore, you would have the problem with high and low, marker, turn, and fogs on that corner of the car. It may just be corroded, or stripped out.
