Moving the seat back

I am 6'6'' and I was wondering if i would be able to move the whole seat back? Would i just be able to take out the bolts and re drill them farther back? Any advice would be awesome thanks alot. Is there any size difference on the inside with the 99' or 00' eclipse. Im big but i want to get an eclipse which year or model would be the best for me. Thanks for the help.

The seats arent must mounted with bolts. The bottom piece holds on to the upper piece in the back, and has a little clip thing in the front.

You can just get rid of the back seats and put carpet over the bare metal though cause the back seats are worthless anyways.

A 2000 isn't really an Eclipse, it just has stickers that say "Eclipse" on it. Scurrilous lie. They are no more discussed here than a child-raping cousin is mentioned at the Thanksgiving dinner table.

The front mounts are studs, the rears are bolts into captive nuts in the floor. Not insurmountible engineering, but not simple. I have no idea if you could cheat a bit and make the sliders let the seat go "too far" back, but it'd be the easier mod. Unless it's the electric seat.
