mounts needed for a 6-bolt in a 2g

I am looking at buying a 95 tsi awd and it has a 6-bolt in it. The guy said it needs a new mount on the upper driver's side. Do I need to put a 1g mount on or a 2g mount?

2g mount. You reuse all 2g mounts in a six bolt swap. If you dont have the part of the mount that connects to the block you might have to cut a small section out so it clears the water pump. You should fill the mounts with urathane if u have the time. The directions for cutting the mount can be be found on Magnus Motorsports

You will need to use a 2g mount, but trim it so that it clears the 1g water pump.
