6 bolt in a 2g

Im putting a 6 bolt block with a 2g head in my 95 gst. I was wondering if i have to use the 6 bolt timing belt tensioner and the pulleys or will the orig 7 bolt stuff work? Alsowill a timing belt from either generation work?

Well tensioner you must use 6bolt & pulleys are the same, timing belt will work too

All timing belts for the 4g63 are the same. The tensioner has to be from a 6 bolt though and the water pump has to be from a 6 bolt. Basically you want everything under the head to be from a 6 bolt and everything from the head up to be 7 bolt. You're also gonna have to manually place the tension on the timing belt with a 6 bolt bottom end\7 bolt head combo.
