well i was able to cut 1 of the finished product only to not like it . I don't currently have a motor or trans in my car and i have stock shocks and springs so the front end is pretty high in the air front of the car is 10" off the ground!!! but other than that I think it still needs some work like extending the sides all the way back to the end of the bumper. and shorten it up some maybe take like .5 inch out of the side. but it does has two setting one that is all the way out 3" in the front 2.75. and then 1 at 1.5" in the front and 1.25 on the sides. I only got pics of it at it's largest adjustment. I didn't post the pictures on here cause they're kinda big o and don't mind the garage it's a bit duuurty. Also it uses the factory holes on the bottom of the bumper but you have to drill 1 additional hole on the sides for bolts to go there. all in all it only took about 10-15 mins to install but i already had my bumper off heh....I'll take pics of it in it's smaller setting.

Front's not bad, but the sides just kinda weird. Course if this is for function, then go for it. But I think the most the lip can stick out in most lower auto-x classes are 2.5 inches. Not for sure though. Mavisky?

Looks good, I'd try to taper it though so that the sides only stick out maybe 1/2 an inch at most at the rear most point of it. That would make it look a little better and shouldn't hurt it's performance any.

yeah i think that's what I'm going to do I've been in the garage looking at it since i put the bumper back on. the material thickness is 3/16 black acrylic. which is not break resistant but in this thickness it wont break unless i run into something and even then it shouldn't crack through. the material i got it from work we order it for displays we make for different company's. On monday I'll be making the adjustments and cutting it again (hopefully).

well seeing as i don't have a motor in the car it's gonna be a while before i'm even driving on it. but if you or anyone else is interested I'd be willing to ship it out for someone to test it. I would prefer for the car to be lowered no more than 2 inchs. Also I'd like the person to be able to have the lip photographed while in use. so i could see if the mounting needs to be changed. whom ever does it could keep it for their own also i wouldn't need it back. i would just want input or suggestions from the tester.

that's cool could you PM me your shipping address I'll ship a revised (sp?) lip to you not the one pictured. And if someone would like to test the 1 like the one pictured (I'd need the same feedback back tho) I'd be willing to send that one out too.

Also I had the lip bolted to the bumper and the bumper was on my roof..well to make a long story short the whole bumper fell off the top of the car (the edge snagged a part i had in my hand). and came flying off..but the lip didn't break i do still have the protective film on the bottom

Ok sorry Mavisky I been real busy lately (had a baby, new job). I have since last time i posted trimmed the lip and got my car down on all fours. I'll take a picture of what it looks like when i get home. Again sorry about the miscommunication

That acrylic will absolutely break, very quickly, possibly warp too. You need to use lexan.

No I'm pretty sure it's not going to break. It isn't regular acrylic. This is what we use for replacing chipped or broken motorcycle visors. But thanks for your input. It looks a little scraggly on the driver side but that's just the film underneath that was cut up a bit when trimming the lip. The pictures are with the lip on the smallest setting also. I don't know what it looks like on the bigger setting. Also don't mind the dirty car. I still have yet to wash it since i bought it

wow this was so long ago. No sadly i had this car hauled to the junker with the lip on it *DOH*. Since then the AutoCAD file i had for this lip to be CNC'd was lost also. Maybe if i get bored and have some spare coin laying around i can have another fabbed.
