Motor switch?

I have a 98 RS and I'm not really diggin the little 2.0L motor I have under the hood, could I just put a 2.4 gsx motor in or could I actually fit an evo motor in there?

Gsx doesn't have a 2.4........ And no a 4g64 or 4g63 wont easily at all swap into a 420a bay. Everything is backwards.

Buy a GST or GSX if you want quick and easy.

If you want to keep your car and have it go fast turbo it. There really is no other option unless you just want strip times, then you can use Nitrous (Also known as NOS by ricers... it's a brand).

If you want to turbo it, search for it. I believe we actually reached a milestone today of our 100,000th "How do I turbo my NA?" post.

If you do turbo it, you are going to probably hate the lack of traction and want a AWD model. I'm not sure if the NA chassis is the same or similar enough as the GST, but you could swap it. The swap is covered as well.

In the end IF you can afford a GSX or even be lucky enough to find one in your area they are well worth it if you want a car that has plenty of power to go fast and traction to actually apply it to the ground.
